We are honored to announce the first edition of the “Polish Functional Product – Quality Leader 2025” competition, organized as part of the 12th Food Safety Congress, which will take place on October 29, 2025 in Warsaw (Hotel Arche).

The aim of the initiative is to highlight a product that will become a model of quality and functionality in the food industry.
The award aims to highlight the importance of innovation, research and food safety and to strengthen the congress’s status as the most important forum for debate on the future of nutrition.

For over a decade, the Food Safety Congress has been bringing together experts, producers, and decision-makers, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and inspiration for the entire industry. This year’s edition will be enriched by the premiere of a competition that will become its prestigious hallmark.

What is the competition schedule?

Application deadline: October 24, 2025.
Results announced: October 29, 2025. during the Congress

How to report a product?

Simply complete the electronic application form available on the same website.

How does product selection work?

The Competition Jury, composed of industry experts and scientists (full composition in the regulations), will review all entries and select the winner, who will receive the title of “Polish Functional Product – Quality Leader 2025.”

What is the definition of a “Polish Functional Product”?

The following products may take part in the competition:

manufactured in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
reported by companies with headquarters and registration in Poland,
regardless of the capital structure (Polish or foreign capital participation is not an assessment criterion).

The award is prestigious and symbolizes recognition of the quality and functionality of products available on the Polish market.
